After being stuck for weeks I had a breakthrough on the last chapter of the novel. *does little dance* It made me happy because now, I think, I have all the requirements to send it to a publisher. There are sixteen chapters total plus the epilogue.

Now a question. I know I have TDC readers in the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Germany and Canada. Is there anywhere else? I think one of the biggest selling points on this novel is that there's a market out there and, if I can convince the publisher to take a chance, there's a good chance it'll go overseas as well.
IF IT DOESN'T...I'll be willing to send copies to folks who ask. I'll likely set up a paypal account and would ask for shipping on the book plus the American purchase price which would be about six bucks. The only one I can do right off the top of my head is England and I think it would be about three pounds. Two dollars for every pound. Or would that be twelve? Oh well, you guys get the idea.

And I think I have to change Mandy's name to isolate this from the fan fiction piece totally because of the CSI/NCIS copyright issues. I've changed the dragons and humans already. Oh, and people watch the CSI shows in the book. So I hope that covers it. *grin*

Yeah, my department the first time around sucked so I ended up in a lot of sociology classes to get my Justice degree.
I'm just getting into the Supernatural fandom but it seems great so far. But, like I said, I really feel at home in the CSI group. I think I've run into like two really mean people since I started writing.
Yeah, like that. I figured it'd be my only time in England when he put one out and I was on holiday. And Ro took a pic of me next to the billboard in the tube for the book. That's my pic on myspace right now.

Oh it sounds interesting, but with our degrees we don't get to choose classes and what not so I've not had the choice of picking something like that up, and I did Maths/Business A-levels.
I'm not really into supernatural I only caught the last episode of the first season and I've not really been bothered to try to get into it. I think 20 or so readable fandoms is enough :)
I have a pic like that next to an Eragon one in Euston tube station, I went and stood outside the premiere and we snagged 3 of those boards they hang on the barriers.

I tend to read in the fandoms I watch/read so that limits my scope a little. *grin* I fell in love with Supernatural when I saw my first episode in London. But I feel like a dirty old lady because Sammy is the same age as my kid brother. *sigh*
Ally and I have been discussing the differences between UK and US universities. I'm not sure which system I'd like better. I do know I'd like to take the classes that'll help me the most at my chosen career and that so doesn't happen here.
Yeah, you wouldn't think a pic in a tube station (and I'll be deuced if I can remember which one it was) would be my favorite from the trip. Well, that and me next to the statue of Sherlock Holmes outside Baker Street Tube.
