After being stuck for weeks I had a breakthrough on the last chapter of the novel. *does little dance* It made me happy because now, I think, I have all the requirements to send it to a publisher. There are sixteen chapters total plus the epilogue.

Now a question. I know I have TDC readers in the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Germany and Canada. Is there anywhere else? I think one of the biggest selling points on this novel is that there's a market out there and, if I can convince the publisher to take a chance, there's a good chance it'll go overseas as well.
IF IT DOESN'T...I'll be willing to send copies to folks who ask. I'll likely set up a paypal account and would ask for shipping on the book plus the American purchase price which would be about six bucks. The only one I can do right off the top of my head is England and I think it would be about three pounds. Two dollars for every pound. Or would that be twelve? Oh well, you guys get the idea.

And I think I have to change Mandy's name to isolate this from the fan fiction piece totally because of the CSI/NCIS copyright issues. I've changed the dragons and humans already. Oh, and people watch the CSI shows in the book. So I hope that covers it. *grin*

*fingers crossed*

Hope all goes well with the publishers. You brave soul!

Shall I get my paypal account all ready for the payment?

And I want my copy signed :p

That's even if it doesn't get published...

Come up with any names for Mandy yet?

AAAnnnd, are you going to have to remove TDC from the net if it gets published?

Overseas or not, I've got my ways (dad's card on amazon.com...)

Question though, male/male or is it now m/f?

I think that's all my poor overworked brain can come up with for now...

Hey, they can only say no so many times. :)
Okay, okay. Signed it is. *grin* I suppose I should have offered that for the overseas readers as I'll likely be sending things out myself.
Not unless they make me. I'm going to do my best to keep TDC up for as long as possible.
Still m/m slash but seriously toned down. I think the most explicit thing I have is a human running his hand through his dragon's hair or sleeping on a shoulder. *sigh* It says something about the world we live in.
Although I suppose I could do a x-rated version, not have my dad edit it, and go through a porn publisher. *smirk*
Oh, and no new names for Mandy yet unless you count "Manda-Panda".

No kiss?! Com'on! Just a peck!

Or, create yourself a website and put all the good old x-rated stuff on there...

Me, slash obsessed? Never.

Just not Alison :p My own name is the only name I truly hate XD

I find a lot of gals say that about their name. I actually used my own (short version) for a male character. Alex. It works out very well because he's a writer so the question should (hopefully) come up on if he wrote the book or if I did. I refuse to use my full name to publish this one and Tiffany is reserved for my other series.
Slash obsessed? *looks around* Nah. ;) I'll see what I can do.

See Alex, Alexander,Alexandra, Alexis.... Are some of my most favouritest names ;D

I've been looking to change mine for a long time.

My thoughts are your name should match who you are, so if you change as a person,in what feels like a major way, you're name changes with you.

Like Senka is my third internet name, and it reflects how I've grown as a person kinda thing.

Think I influenced my attitude towards names in Mercedes Lackey's Owl series at a young age...

Course, perhaps I should be looking for names/meaning/translations to p"porn", "slash" or "erotica"...

My mum says if she wanted me to have a common name she would have given it to me. She hates that I usually go by Alex. I will answer to almost any variation except Alexandria. I hate that.

Tiff has been my alter ego for so long (17 years) that I'll even answer to that. *grin*

I think you have a one track mind. :) I have two chapters of computer stuff to read and then I promise more smut.
