oh my

okay, so, i'm a HUGE Sherlock Holmes nerd. i'm exceedingly particular about stories i read in the universe and actors who play him. Jeremy Brett and Edward Hardwicke are and shall always be my Holmes and Watson.

that said, mum has been after me to watch the BBC show "Sherlock" when i had a moment.
i haz the giggles. serious giggles.

this actor is brilliant as Holmes. he's young, yes, but on my lord he is good! and his Watson is Martin Freeman, so that's just odd. and talk about slashy undertones to the whole thing. i think i'm going to have to watch all of these now. means i'll have to rent/buy them on dvd because the web site doesn't have them all loaded. the one i'm watching now has (so far) combined the Hound of the Baskervilles, Black Peter, the Blue Carbuncle, a touch of the Devil's Foot, and the Creeping Man, but that's as may be.

and Holmes going through tobacco withdraw is roll on the floor funny the way he's being played. makes me want my Jeremy Brett dvds now. :)

Isn't it good? Hound of the Bskervilles is season 2. I have the other two in that season...and season 1 on Blue Ray...which my computer stares blankly at, LOL. The BBC does very short series sometimes :-) But each one is movie length so...win!

Yes, this is the series that I watch at the "Drink when it's Slashy" parties...there is a LOT of drinking that goes on, I assure you! ;-)

*hugs you a lot*

*giggles* yeah, yeah, yeah. i honestly thought you were talking about the full length theatre movies, not the BBC episodes.

i saw there's a season 3 listed at IMBD. i didn't check it out because i was sleepy, but i'm going to today. and the two mains are in the new Hobbit movies. one is Bilbo and one is the voice of Smaug. won't *that* be wicked? *giggles*

i believe it. the undertones are just amazing.

*hugs* i'll be back on chat one of these days. i've been feeling really crappy and antisocial lately.

unfortunately, the way the house is set up, i do. i don't have access to either TV in the house. my folks are either watching them or talk over me when i'm watching something. just the way it is around here.

meany tv hogs. why is it parents always do that? well at least that way you'll get to see what happens to Moriarty(?). and silly me when I read Martin Freemans' name I saw Morgan Freeman instead. oh I have some plot ideas I think you may like and can I friend you?

their house, their tvs, their rules. i have my computer, so that works out well enough.

sure, you can friend me. :) for the plot ideas, however, i have so many running around that i hardly know what to do with them, so i'm really trying to avoid new ones. at last count i had over 30 WIPs going. *sighs* they pile up when you're not looking.
