routine is important

today was hell in more ways than one. anything that throws me out of my schedule is bad enough, but dental work and PT on the same day probably wasn't the smartest thing i ever thought of doing. i just knew i had to get this darn tooth taken care of and this was the soonest they could work me in. as a result, i had to wake up early, not eat between the dental work and PT, and then eat something soft for dinner. now my poor tummy is upset with me on top of everything else. *sighs* this just proves that a routine is extra important for people with fibro. but, then again, i knew that because i get newsletters from a page that Dr. Oz is associated with and that's one of the things they said. i have a great deal of respect for Dr. Oz. i wish there was a doctor like him in my area. mum got me an appointment with a new doctor in February, but it's a male and they're usually not believers in fibro. i guess i'll just have to see what happens.

at PT today, she spent the whole two hours working on my feet. she said that they were talking to my thyroid, and asked if i had iodine in my diet. i told her the pills made me sick, and she said to eat seaweed. i've tried and it's too fishy for me. i really hate that fishy taste. so i have to do some research to see if there's anything else i can do. and my feet feel better. my PT was all excited because it was a technique she hadn't had a chance to use before, so i told her i would be happy to make guinea pig noises if she wanted me to. that made her laugh. and i had my computer with me, i took over the radio show where Hiro read my letter for her to hear, so she let me play my music today. that was awesome right up until the point that Germany started singing and i got the giggles. but i do love open-minded people who are willing to learn new things. *grins* and my PT is definitely one. (oh, hey, germany just came up on my playlist)

now for pain killers and bed. i'm really glad i have tomorrow off as well. i can spent the day in bed if i want to and still feel like this. although i might go and do movie night with ro as my brother and his fiancee don't arrive until close onto midnight. it's not easy to get here from D.C.

my PT is awesome. i just need to work out something that isn't seaweed to eat now. :)
i had too. it's such a silly pic of him. but, then again, it's hard to find any other type.
