sigh. life

I figure I should do this now because I am going to bathe and go to bed as soon as I get home. I felt this one coming and hoped that it wouldn't happen, but it did. The fibro flared on me and I woke up horrible sick this morning. There isn't a single part of me that doesn't hurt or feel sick. *sighs* And of course it happens in the middle of 13 days in a row. Yeah' I finally counted to see what I'm working. I have eight left to go. I would really rather be home at bed, or even better, in a hot bath. My poor body.

For all my friends, be very happy you have your health and enjoy it.

That just sucks. Being sick. Yeah, I'm glad I'm healthy (besides my throat that sucks as well, but ah well. And my current menstrual pains, but that one most females get). ...Especially now that I have to have at least 80% attendance or I'll be automatically flunked in Japanese..

I hope you'll get better soon. *huggles*

*hugs* thanks. Yeah, cramps suck. But I woukd honestly place them as being better than I feel now.
That's not too uncommon for classes. Teachers want to be sure people attend, at least here in thr states, so there are attendance requirements. I always spoke to the teacher to let them know I had health issues and they would sometimes wave the attendance requirement for me.

Thanks *hugs*
unfortunately, this is chronic so only a medical breakthrough - not gonna happen any time soon - or death is the only way I won't be sick and in pain.

I know its not always possible, but is there anyway to get them to not overwork you like that? I'm not sure if its a state law or a federal one, but once I announced at work that I had lupus and could no longer work overtime, they couldn't fire me without having to prove it wasn't because of my disability. Of course, I was lucky enough to work for a company that didn't TRY to fire me and even did their best to keep me working. Unfortunately that didn't last long but I'm thankful I only had chronic depression to deal with when I was younger and waited until in my 50s to get really sick.

I don't know if there is a law like that here or not, but my department at the moment is three officers counting myself, and when they both want time off and they have covered for me, it's only fair to give them the time off. I don't think the work caused this flare, i think it's likely the weather. We're having 40+ degree temp swings and that's usually hard on me.
As to boss attitude, we are all easily replaceable and the job market around here sucks because we have two universities, so all minimum wage collge student jobs. I don't dare make waves.
