new form of writer's block

So I sat down at the computer after finally (finally) getting heat in my bedroom. Don't ask what happened but I've been without any source of heat since fall started and it's been cold here. But I've encountered a new form of writers block and I have to say it is rather off-putting.

That's La Nina (pronounced Neen-ya). I've had her since she was two weeks old and a six-year-old kid scared her mom off down in Los Cabos. And yes, she has her immigration papers and eveything. *grin* Nina is eight and has grown up around the computer but just doesn't seem to understand that there are times my arm needs to sit right where she is. Oh well, at least she's quit freaking out over the fan.

My cat Mercury does the same thing. He doesn't understand my fascination with the computer and sometimes plops his ten pound self right in my way and gets cranky (for him anyway) when I put my arm in his way. This is also the cat that farts when he gets mad about something (no, I'm not kidding)

I had to break her of the habit of walking on the keyboard when I was in chat rooms. Fortunately it was always fan club related and they knew she was around.
I guess cats just love computers. Or it's the whole "I'm the center of the universe, pay attention to me, thing"

And you know how I feel about Neen on the desk too. :) Oh well, at least she's not up on top of the fridge - oh wait, she does that too. *wink*

I broth my cat home when she was almost 2 months old, but she still was very small ( she still is! ) Her first place to hide was - INSIDE of my computer (all my computers always stand without walls for better cooling)! sorry, I don`t have a picture from that time :( she is almost 7 years old now.

She is beautiful! What a cutie. I don't have many pics from when Nina was a kitten because she just wouldn't keep still.

And they move so fast too. *giggle* I remember when my mum woke me up one morning because she couldn't find Nina for her morning bottle and she was in bed with me. Under the covers. Next to the footboard. I still can't figure out how she can breathe under there.
I do have a pic of her learning to nurse from the bottle but its in a frame in storage. I should dig it out.

She is beautiful,
My cats usually sit on my laptop so maybe they are jelous of my writing.
Gandalf usually prefer to sleep but Yossi walk in front of the screen and i Can't see what i'm writing.
It's funny and cats are just to beautiful to be angry with them.

I'll be sure to pass on the compliment. :) I think cats just want to be the center of attention and, you're right, you just can't be angry with them.
