Writer's Block: My secret self

Do you have any hobbies, beliefs, or interests that you share exclusively on LiveJournal? How are your LiveJournal friends different from your offline friends?

My slash fan fiction writing. My offline friends - save Ro - just know that I write fan fiction, not that it is graphic slash. I find I like it that way too because I don't have to try and explain why I like slash, why I like writing slash, and why I like spending so much time online with other writers/readers of fan fiction.

Most of my online friends are readers/writers of fan fiction and that's something we all share a passion for. I have no offline friends I see daily/weekly/monthly who are writers and it's nice to have friends who understand where I'm coming from with my writing and have no fear of giving me honest feedback. (at least I hope so)

I'm in the same boat regarding Slash. Nobody knows (I hope) that I write it. Obviously thousands do it but still I consider it a personal thing.

Totally know what you mean. *grins* And that's another reason I use a pen name. It makes it that much harder to track me down. *looks around*
