Horatio problems

And there's a subject I never, and I mean never thought I'd have to write. He's turned into a dirty old man in High Stakes. *rolls eyes* Seriously, I'm having to restrain him from jumping a fifteen-year-old Greg House.
But, as Horatio is also about 1000 years old in the fic, he grew up in another time with another set of values that I'm having to try and balance. But its totally OC for Horatio.
I'd say give me another day to work with him and I'll have updates. Long updates. And maybe TDC too.

*grumbles* Bloody vampires.

Just hang in there and be patient for updates. :) I'm kinda going in circles right now and things are crazier than normal.

Well as you already said.. Horatio is 1000 years old and in that time.. it was "normal" to "jump" such young boys.. though a fifteen year old wasn't considered a boy any longer.. so I think it would be normal for this Horatio.. *shrugs*

That's what I'm thinking. And there's plenty of him thinking about how its wrong for the time he's living in then. This should get interesting.

Oh yeah, and Speed's being a jealous pill too. :(

Oh this sounds good..and interesting.

Speed's a jealous pill? I really like that. Some tension is always great, makes the smut even better. *grin* Okay, I stop joking now.. I like that, when Speed is jealous and it's understandable. But since I'm up for some H/House scenes...I can live with that. As long as H and Speed don't fight and I mean really fight..

I hope its as interesting as it sounds. House is being House, Speed is a pill and Horatio is being, well, a pervert. *headdesk* And I'm heading off to write more on it.

Okay, I'll keep that in mind. :)

You have no idea how hard I'm laughing right now. Good thing that I'm alone in the living room.

I don't mind H being a "pervert" as long as he's a nice one. I don't mind him as a bad a** either.. as long as he has a soft spot... I'm pretty easy going when it comes to H. :D

Did you get my mail? Or should I slap yahoo? LOL

Family and friends just don't understand sudden laughter at the computer sometimes. *snicker* I'm actually at Ro's house and she just ignores me.

I did get it, I'll take a look this weekend and get them back to you Monday or Tuesday. :) I'm looking forward to H and Calleigh talking.

Have you ever heard of pederasty? It's an Ancient Greek tradition where an older man would take a young boy under his wing, teach him about the world and business or what have you and have wild monkey sex at the same time. That might just help you out figuring out why H was being so forward. Here is some info on it, and here is the Wiki entry on it.

To tell the truth, I just went and read that bit and didn't have a problem with it at all. In fact that's what it sounded like to me. Also I kinda think that since House is a genius, and an outspoken one at that, he would have said something if it was unwanted. Yeah, fifteen is a bit young, but it's fanfiction and you can stretch the age of consent for wherever he was living at the time.

Hope that helps you out of the corner you wrote yourself into! That always sucks.
Cheers!

I have, although not in detail - bloody public schools *snicker* - and that sound close enough. I guess what I really have to do is figure out how much background I'm going to give and how deeply I want to go into their on and off relationship.

House was abused though and that can play into it. But you're right, I don't see House keeping quiet about much of anything. :)

Learn this in my public school? Yeah right! I had a teacher tell me once that the pilgrims did not land at Plymouth Rock! Nah, I learned this from reading fan fiction! LOL!

Good luck with the story!

OMHG, you're kidding. Where the hell was that teacher going??? Sheesh. That just makes me want to teach more because the school system fails in so many ways.

Thanks. :) H and Speed are fighting at the moment. One of these days I'll get everything written and posted rather than just talking about it.

She was nuts. It was English class and she'd make us watch movies on Nostradamus and stuff. Which isn't as bad as my 8th grade science teacher forcing us to watch Pee Wee's Big Adventure and testing us on it. No, I'm not kidding. I nearly failed Earth Sciences that semester because I didn't pay attention.

I'm sure you would be a faboo teacher! Heck, you could probably write Mac or H teaching and teach us fan fic writers some stuff about forensics or chemistry or something. Hell, most of the chemistry I know came from Alton Brown so it's not like you have to be an actual teacher to really teach.

OOH! Make up sex! ;) Have fun with that! HEE!

Freaky. There are some weird teachers out there, I've had a few myself, but none quite that strange.

Thanks. :) I do enjoy it and have done for a number of years. I've been studying Forensics for the novel and could, probably, manage H or Mac teaching a new CSI. *snicker* I did think of the ONE book that should never be written. Autopsies for Dummies.

Eh, sad to say those weren't the worst teachers I've had. Considering my school system I'm surprised I can count past twenty.

Brain surgery for Dummies would be worse. At least the cadavers can't sue for malpractice. LOL

^^ I agree with your point of moral principle.
I think falling into this dilema is necessary when you writing, and I have too.( I write in korean.^^)
But, I think you have to believe peoples who search and read your works. They will understanding this is a fiction which have to separate from reality.
Oh... Am I Too serious?

Maybe I just want to read your undates~^^

Nope, I think you summed it up perfectly. I'm probably just worrying about nothing again. I got flammed quite a bit in another fandom and that has some residual effects on me still.

I'll get them up just as soon as I can. It's looking like three, maybe four new chapters for High Stakes once I get everything ironed out.
